Safe or Not: Travel in the Post-September 11th World
Most of us view the world differently after the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States. How different is it, really, and how has the world of travel changed since then? Larry talks about the ways the U.S. Government tries to serve its citizens to aid in their safety throughout the world, and discusses political realities around the globe and how they affect travel. His conclusion: yes, new dangers confront today’s traveler, but it’s still a big, beautiful world. Once you know what the new risks are you can chart your way around them, and still enjoy discovering the vast treasures of life in our diverse world.
